• Next-generation energy technologies for achieving carbon neutrality represent environmentally friendly solutions that can make significant contributions to addressing global energy and environmental challenges. To realize devices that produce such energy, the development of eco-friendly, high-performance materials and the advancement of device efficiency through a deeper understanding of photoelectric and thermoelectric phenomena are considered key challenges. Our laboratory conducts comprehensive research, ranging from the development of fundamental materials to the optimization of device performance, all aimed at enabling next-generation energy devices for a carbon-neutral future.
