Notice of the Application of 2026 GKS-G (University Track)

B. Application Procedures

  • Step 1. Submit your application documents by post till March 30th, 2026.
    • Address: Graduate Admissions Team, Room #202, Main Administrative Building (Bldg. 201),
      UNIST-gil 50, Ulju-gun, Ulsan 44919, Republic of Korea

          * Only the documents(hardcopy) which arrive by March 30th, 2026 will be accepted.

          * All the documents submitted shall not be returned to the applicants.

          * Please use the Application form through the link above. (Due to technical issue, 2025 Form is automatically downloading at the moment.)

  • Step 2. Fill out the google form in order to monitor and not to miss your applications

C. Application guidelines

 We follow the 2026 GKS-G guidelines when selecting UNIST track scholarship candidates. So, you are encouraged to apply according to the 2026 GKS-G guidelines.

D. Additional Requirements

English Test Report is required for all applicants.

Please submit your english Test Report at least before the evaluation starts. (In case you need to submit it after the application deadline, please send it through our email(adm-c@unist.ac.kr))

English proficiency test that is operated by official english test institution are only accepted

Acceptable list of ETR

: TOEIC, TOEIC S/W, TOEFL(Code: 8807), IELTS, TEPS(New TEPS), G-TELP, OPIC

The test date shall be within 2 years of the online application deadline.

Self-administered test by univerisities or institutions, such as TOEFL ITP, Duolingo English Test, IELTS Indicator, etc are not acceptable

Exemption Requirements
If you hold a citizenship from the country list below OR

If you have physically studied and completed a Bachelor Degree or higher from the university in the country list below

Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Canada, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, Malta, New Zealand, St Kitts, St Lucia, St Vincent, Trinidad and Tobago, U.K., U.S.A.

If you submit a certificate issued from the university that notes your study’s(Bachelor degree or higher) medium of instruction is English
